I couldn't agree more. I bought the Savage (and fixed mine up first class) to get back into biking. But my problem is that they dominate my local market. Therefore if I want to get in a lot of the local events I've got to be a HOG member. Infact, I'm off this afternoon to the Harley dealer to "beg" to get put on the 2001 list for a Sportster - a bike I've got mixed emotions about.
Then after an indeterminable wait and cost, the ticket for admission will be paid. Then I guess it will be to borrow a phrase "alas poor Savage I knew thee well".
